Hello and welcome to my Blog, Live Love Laugh
I was born in Dar-es-Salaam, a buzzing coastal town in Tanzania, home to the majestic Kilimanjaro and envious national parks. Besides my home country, I’ve lived in Ireland and UK, where I worked as a Biomedical Scientist until my move to France. I’m a dotted aunt and a godmother. I currently live in France with my husband Michi and our beloved dog Mylo.
What’s the blog about?
I decided to start blogging when I moved to France about three years ago. Back then, I felt the need to engage and share the ups and downs of living in a new country, especially when the language is so alien! To date, the blog still stands albeit the recent hacking experience, which I choose to rise above. Having lived and travelled across the globe, I am very passionate about foreign languages and cultures. I speak Swahili as it’s my mother tongue, German as it’s my hubby’s language and French as I’m adopted here. Voilà!
I’m also into interiors, photography, cooking and recently plunged into gardening. And It’s true that I’d be lost without my daily dose of exercise, running and yoga really restore my inner self.
My pledge to my blog is to share my real experiences and If any of them turn out to be useful to you, then I’ve fulfilled my purpose. Please note that all opinions are my own. Kindly consult professional sources for professional advice.
Lastly, feel free to chat with me on blog comments and connect via Instagram or Twitter.
Asante. Thank you. Danke. Merci.
